Full Restorations

When your eltro-mechanical (EM) machine has significant sentimental value, many of our customers opt for a Full Restoration. This can involve a new playfield surface, a cabinet repaint, and a new chrome finish. This work is in addition to the shop out described on our home page. To your left is an example of two machines that went through this process.
Pinball Cabinet Restore, & Playfield Restore
As a result of decades of use in arcades and homes, pinball cabinets often have graffiti, scratches and dings in the cabinet. If this machine is sentimental to you and takes up a prominent space in your house, we recommend having your cabinet restored. During this process, we remove all electronics and wiring from the cabinet and head. We remove your playfield, legs, & side rails. Next, our cabinet professionals sand and remove the original art, bondo repair the cabinet, sand it very smooth, then repaint or install new decals. Then your machine is put back together. Your cabinet will look nearly as good as the day the machine was manufactured.
Playfield Swaps & Touch-up
Some pinball machines were played more than others. If they were popular games, you can tell by decades of damage to the playfield. At Restoration Pinball, we can replace playfields with new ones or touch up specific areas of the playfield, as well as the backglass. This machine is in your home, it makes sense ot have it look nice!
